Familiar and encouraging words from God to His people about what He had in store for them. Words that are very important to us, because we know how God has created us to serve Him. It is no accident that Kirk grew up in an artist’s home and developed an academic interest in cultural things. It is no accident that Sarah studied art most of her life and became a designer and painter. It is no accident that we were brought together in marriage and now seek to serve others in His name.
We know the plans that God has for us.

We know the plans, but we go forward trusting that God will guide us. What are those plans? To work and minister in the art world, to see a greater appreciation of Beauty in the Church and a greater appreciation of the source of Beauty in the art world. We see that happening in New York City where those two circles meet—the Church and the Art World. New York is a center for the Art World—perhaps the largest influencer. And the Church, especially in the last two decades, has grown in tremendous ways in New York City. We have both seen our trajectory taking us to the Big Apple; it’s just a matter of trusting God.
