upcoming event!

A subject that has been discussed for millennia, “Beauty” is still important today…maybe more so. But WHAT is it? Why is it important? And how is it related to the Art community and the non-artist community? Is it mere “window dressing”—confined to that which we see in the visible world, or is it perhaps a deeper thing? What is the source of Beauty? Is it a brute power—in and of itself—like “the Force” in Star Wars? Is it even valuable to simple everyday life?

Join us for an evening of art and a lecture on beauty.

EVANGELICAL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
of Newark, Delaware

We are a congregation of about 350 with historic roots and a present passion for God. Our desire is to glorify God by loving him with all our heart and loving our neighbor as ourselves. We can only do that in and through Jesus Christ who sustains us by His Spirit. In the last five years we have strengthened our local mission work through partnership and renewed investment in our own community outreach to children, families and the arts community. We hope that you will join us and give us an opportunity to get to know you and, by God’s grace, love and encourage you.
